Every year in January, I put together 50+ of my favorite images from the year and then have my Instagram followers vote on which image is their favorite. Images are put head to head and everyday half of the photos are eliminated. It’s a traditional bracket style of voting. This is one of my FAVORITE things I do every year.

The Rachel B Photography Senior Rep Team is my favorite part of Rachel B Photography. The Senior Rep Team is a group of 12 high school girls graduating in May 2025. They are students at Quincy High School, Quincy Notre Dame, Central High School and Unity High School.

I am really sentimental about this shoot. Partially because it was my first official shoot back after having my first baby. Partially because it still holds some of my most favorite images of the 2024 school year. One of the images from the flower field was even voted to be the second favorite image of the year by my Instagram followers.

There are tons of different types of photography. There’s family photos, wedding photos, landscape photography, stock photography, couple photos, and (of course) senior photos. When I first started photography, I tried every single one of these types of photos. I took photos of anything and anyone that I could. I left no stone unturned. After a couple years of saying yes to everything I knew I needed to start settling more into one type of photography. Pretty quickly, I landed on senior photos.

My 2024 Senior Rep Team!!!! Every year it seems that time just goes by faster and faster. One minute I am agonizing over Senior Rep applications and the next I am preparing our final gathering. My Senior Rep Team is an integral part of my business.

I am going to be so sad when Morgan graduates and we don’t get to spend an hour after her photo shoots just chatting about life. On the other hand, I can’t wait to see what she is going to do and who she is going to impact as she goes forward in life.

Adison is one of my 2024 Senior Reps, and I truly just adore her. Adison is a senior at Quincy Notre Dame. She is truly dedicated to the Pom team and is a leader within her school being involved with a variety of clubs and organizations. Adison has a heart of gold. She is kind. She listens well and cares to know about those around her.
