When you show up to your session or before you even book your session, I want you to know that I am more than just the 5’2, 23 year old holding a camera. Here’s some facts that will hopefully help you get to know the person behind the camera!

• I’m a wife. 

My husband (Jordan) and I were married on August 8, 2020. We are high school sweethearts and have been dating since 2014. I know, it’s crazy. I have a hard time believing that I was only 15 when we started dating! We dated for half of our high school career, and then we did long distance for five years while we were attending college. Jordan went to Culver-Stockton College in Canton,MO and I went to Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. We were about 2.5 hours apart and saw each other once a month. We got engaged on December 28, 2018. After 1.5 years of planning our dream wedding, COVID came, we uninvited almost everyone and got married with just our bridal party and immediate family. It was still a dream come true type of day. Since then we have been traveling, dreaming and navigating married life.

• Coffee shops are my favorite place to be. 

It’s true. I spend way too much money on carmel lattes and iced chais with carmel drizzle. Being able to cozy up in the corner of a hustle & bustle coffee shop instantly creates productivity for me. This is my favorite place to edit pictures and meet up with new & old friends. Something about this environment makes my heart feel at home. 

• I LOVE to read. 

Reading is my favorite hobby. Ever since I was little I have adored reading. Once I graduated college, I truly fell back in love with reading. My mom and I are often swapping books and talking about our favorite reads. My favorite books are romance, but I also read personal development, mystery and historical fiction. My favorite author is absolutely Colleen Hoover. I will stand by the fact that if you don’t love reading you just aren’t reading the right books.

The enneagram is my favorite personality test. 

Crocheting is my second favorite hobby (to reading, of course)

Walks are my favorite form of exercise. 

Starfish & pigs are my favorite animals.
